Ja Morant is one of the most athletic guards in the entire league

Skill wise, the biggest thing that stands out when you watch Ja Morant play is how athletic he is. Whether it is pushing the pace in transition or blowing past his defenders in the halfcourt, Ja Morant is an extremely skilled athlete and with his ability to play well-above the rim, he certainly has the potential to one day be one of the best guards in the league.

In his prime, John Wall was known for using his speed and athleticism to be one of the most unguardable point guards in the entire league and Russell Westbrook has made a name for himself in large part because of his athletic prowess.

Wall, Westbrook and Morant are all different players and possess different skills than one another, but the one thing they all share in common that makes each of them great in their own way is their explosiveness and athleticism.

More and more in today’s NBA, we are seeing young, athletic players enter the league and be able to do things that players at certain positions normally do not do, and with Morant having this type of energy to him, the sky’s the limit as he continues to develop.

Athleticism is a key to success in today’s NBA and with Ja Morant being one of the most athletic guards in the entire league, there is no reason he cannot work his way into being a Top-5 point guard in the NBA.
