The Golden State Warriors can win another title in the coming years

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from Steph enCurry’s historic play this season is that the Golden State Warriors are not done just yet in terms of competing for championships. If Curry continues to be as dominant as he is this season and the Warriors are able to get Klay Thompson back and playing at an All-Star level again, there is no reason why this team cannot compete for yet another championship.

They may have had a super team in 2017 and 2018 with Kevin Durant, but the Warriors won the title in 2015 with just Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green leading this team. They are older and potentially on the back-halves of their respective careers but if all three guys can continue playing at a high-level and Andrew Wiggins continues to improve in their system, then they have everything they need to win another title.

A lot of the Warriors’ chances to win another title though are because of this recent surge from Stephen Curry. He has almost re-energized the Warriors this season and while they may ultimately lose in the play-in tournament, this level of play is something we have rarely seen in the NBA.
