Julius Randle is one of the hottest players in the league and becoming a superstar
Julius Randle seems like a “lock” to win Most Improved Player this year and outside of Stephen Curry, he may be the hottest player in the league right now. He has been on an absolute tear over the last few weeks during the Knicks’ 9-game win streak and is the catalyst for the Knicks on the offensive-end of the court.
During their 9-game win streak, Randle is averaging 30.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.3 steals and is shooting 46.1% from the floor, 45.3% from three-point range. It seems like every shot that Randle takes is going in right now and every time the Knicks need a big play, he has the ball in his hands.
On the year, Julius Randle leads the Knicks in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, field goals made and player efficiency rating. While they are a highly focused, defensive-minded team, scoring is the name of today’s game and Randle takes on a lot of the Knicks’ offensive load.
