Come playoff time, nothing is going to keep Durant off the court

As stated before, the Nets pretty much have sealed up their playoff spot at this point and will likely finish as the 1-seed or 2-seed in the Eastern Conference, but their main concern right now are the injuries to their star players. Durant just returned to the court and Harden is currently out with a hamstring injury with no timetable being laid out for his return.

Of course the Nets are going to be cautious with KD as the regular season comes to an end, but come playoff time, he is going to go back to playing 30+ minutes per game and playing in every game unless he physically cannot walk.

This season is “championship or bust” for the Brooklyn Nets and they know that these are the expectations, as they fully believe that they can win a title this year. Durant is no stranger to winning a championship and he knows what it takes in the playoffs to do so.

Durant knows how important it is that he is on the court and healthy for his team, but the biggest thing that he views as a challenge for the Nets over the next few weeks is keeping everybody together on the court.

After the game against the Suns, Durant said the following during his press conference in regards to how he played and how he felt after his long absence from the court: “It’s like riding a bike, you get your footing right and just get your rhythm going; and I think my teammates did a great job of looking for me all game, and I just wanted to resort back to that work I put in… Hopefully, I build on this game and keep going.”

The Brooklyn Nets are currently 41-20 on the season and 1.5 games up on the Philadelphia 76ers for the 1-seed in the Eastern Conference. With Kevin Durant back from his injury and James Harden hopefully on the mend, the Nets are definitely the team to beat in this year’s playoffs.
