Scottie Barnes can do a little bit of everything and is still growing
At just 19-years-old, Scottie Barnes has yet to reach his full potential as a player and with many things sticking out about his game, he could grow into a great all-around player in this league. Whoever drafts him is going to have to take the time to develop Barnes and teach him how to be a better overall talent, but the pieces are there already.
There is really nothing that needs to be taught to Barnes in terms of positioning or talent, but some polishing does need to be done and a set role does need to be carved out for him. Barnes is not the type of guy that can just be thrown out there on the court and asked to do it all, which is why he could wind up slipping a bit in the draft.
However, with all of the potential he possesses and his freakish length, Scottie Barnes can do a bunch of things to help his team win games. He is an above-average scorer inside the three-point line, he is a great passer for a forward and with the potential to grow into a great defender, Scottie Barnes can do a little bit of everything at the NBA level.

Going up against strong, bigger forwards in the league should definitely be interesting to watch in order to see how Barnes adapts, but given how smart and poised he is as a player, I fully expect Scottie Barnes to be a key contributor by the end of his rookie season.
With all of the potential in the world and given all of the intangible things he can do for a team, Scottie Barnes is definitely a name to watch for on draft night this year and he is a guy who could end up being a major steal in the 2021 NBA Draft.
