Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards have been one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference for years now. This will not change anytime soon unless the front office continues to rebuild. This is what we saw when John Wall was sent to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook.
The Wizards’ duo of Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal has not worked to this point of the season. They are both seeing individual success which means they could be moved at some point.
In the frontcourt, the Wizards signed Davis Bertans to a deal in the offseason but he has not been used in a big way. Jarrett Allen is a true center that could balance the floor well along with Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook. This has been a glaring need for Washington since the beginning of the season.

The Wizards are expected to be in on the Allen sweepstakes but it will come down to what the contract will look like. Washington would surely need to engage in a potential sign-and-trade deal if they were to get Allen to sign an offer sheet, but it would also require the Cavaliers deciding not to match the offer, too.
The Wizards have had star power for quite some time now but have been unable to take that next step. They have to once again rebuild from the ground up in hopes of competing for a postseason spot in the Eastern Conference.
