1. Oladipo Helps The Heat Make Another NBA Finals Push
After making a run all the way to the NBA Finals last season, the Heat came up just short against the Los Angeles Lakers. A lot of coming up short had to do with untimely injuries to point guard Goran Dragic and star big man Bam Adebayo.
This season, Pat Riley and company are going to make another NBA Finals push. Victor Oladipo is going to be a huge part of that push.
Having another dynamic offensive weapon and a guy who can create issues on the defensive end of the court will be a major help. Miami was able to keep both Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson as well. The addition of Oladipo will simply be the icing on the cake for another deep playoff run.
Looking at the current roster, the Heat are deep and are well set up for a seven-game series. They have multiple guys who can create, defend, and shoot. Oladipo adds the extra element of playmaking and shot-creating that the Heat were missing.
Oladipo has been wanting to compete for championships and that has been his main priority. With the Heat in his first year with the team, he will find himself in the NBA Finals, exactly where he wanted to be.
