Bradley Beal – Washington Wizards

Bradley Beal trade rumors have been surfacing ever since this past offseason and while they did not trade him at the deadline this year, Beal could still be moved in a monumental trade this coming offseason. How the rest of this season plays out will definitely impact Beal’s decision to remain with the Wizards moving forward, especially since they have an outside shot to make the playoffs.

With the new playoff format this year, only 8 teams make the playoffs still but there are two play-in games in the Eastern and Western Conference this season, giving the 9-seed and 10-seed a chance to make the playoffs.

The Wizards are currently 3 games back from the 10-seed Chicago Bulls as things stand right now and with both Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook playing at a high-level, they could potentially sneak into the playoffs. If they do make the playoffs, the Wizards will likely continue to make moves to surround both Westbrook and Beal with more talent, but if they miss the playoffs again, then Beal could ask to be traded.

There were a ton of rumors earlier in the year that Bradley Beal was frustrated in Washington and was on the verge of requesting a trade, but both the Wizards and the All-Star guard shot down all of these rumors.

This season has a lot to do with Bradley Beal’s future, but there is going to continue to be a major market for the superstar shooting guard. Plenty of teams will be willing to offer up “a king’s ransom” to try and acquire Beal in the offseason, which is why he will be one of the biggest storylines in the NBA this coming offseason.
