Andre Drummond

Andre Drummond is an obvious buyout option after the Cleveland Cavaliers failed to trade away the two time All-Star at the NBA trade deadline. Drummond, 27, could provide a team like the New York Knicks with a great complimentary piece to the big name talent they already have on the roster.

The New York Knicks have enjoyed the success of their big man Julius Randle this season as he has molded himself into an All-Star talent. The Knicks need to reward him by giving him some help in the interior.

Mitchell Robinson will be sidelined for the remainder of the season and it’s important the Knicks use their available salary cap space to find a stopgap option. Andre Drummond wouldn’t need to be a long-term fit.
