Otto Porter Jr
Otto Porter Jr could be an appealing buy out option if the Orlando Magic do decide to get rid of him due to the great depth he could bring to a playoff caliber team. Otto Porter Jr could be a great addition to the New York Knicks, who could desperately use some forward depth.
Otto Porter Jr was part of the trade that sent Nikola Vucevic to the Chicago Bulls on March 25th and Porter could be bought out as a result. This team is clearly in a rebuild and will not benefit from Porter’s expiring contract playing in games to finish the season.
Several teams have already shown interest in Otto Porter Jr, and rightfully so as he’s one of the top buyout options that could be available. It’s still unclear if the Orlando Magic will decide to pursue a buyout but when considering the circumstances, it would make the most sense.

Otto Porter was averaging 9.9 points per game, 5.5 total rebounds per game, and 2.0 assists per game for the Bulls before being dealt to Orlando, and he could be a great addition to a playoff team. The Knicks should look to bring in Otto Porter if he’s made available.
