JaVale McGee

Along with Drummond, veteran center JaVale McGee is another name on the Cavaliers that has drawn a solid amount of trade interest around the league. The 3x NBA Champion was traded to the Cavaliers from the Lakers this offseason to free up some cap space, but he is still an impactful, experienced player.

JaVale McGee is a really underrated center in this league because he does not get enough appreciation for what he does on both ends of the court. He is only playing about 15 minutes per game this season, but is averaging 7.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.

He is a high-motor center and a bruiser of a big man that is always contesting every single rebound on both ends of the court. While this does make him “foul prone,” McGee is definitely a player that could have an impact on numerous playoff contending teams that could use an extra boost in their frontcourt.

The asking price for McGee is not believed to be too high either, as the Cavaliers will likely accept a future draft pick or a young player. While the Cavs do like JaVale McGee and his energy that he brings night-in and night-out, he will most likely not be with the team past this season, so they might as well get something for him since they are not going to be making the playoffs.
