Mason Plumlee – Detroit Pistons
The Brooklyn Nets need to add another reliable big man to their roster and Mason Plumlee is an interesting name that has come up in Nets trade rumors recently. The 31-year-old center signed a three-year deal with the Pistons this past offseason, but Brooklyn has reportedly expressed interest in him over the weeks.
He is only owed $8M this season and $24.6M through the 2022-23 season, making things a little easier for Brooklyn to trade for him and he could definitely have an impact on both ends of the court for a team that is vying for a championship.
In any big trade scenario for the Nets, Spencer Dinwiddie would have to be involved and with the Pistons being one of the teams rumored to be interested in Dinwiddie, the Nets could possibly pull off this under-the-radar trade.

In his first season with the Pistons, Plumlee has been putting together a really solid season, averaging 10.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and shooting 60.8% from the floor.
For a team that has DeAndre Jordan and Jeff Green as their only contributing “centers” adding another key big man like Mason Plumlee could definitely put the Nets over-the-edge in terms of overall talent to win a championship.
