Aaron Gordon – Orlando Magic
Not only have the Orlando Magic really struggled this year due to injuries, but Aaron Gordon is a player that could wind up being on the move as a result of their struggles. He has a year remaining on his contract after this season and with him being owed $34.5M through next year, Gordon is an impact player a handful of teams have been targeting with the NBA trade deadline getting closer.
The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Portland Trail Blazers are the two teams that have expressed the most interest in the versatile forward, but the New York Knicks could make a last-minute effort to acquire the 25-year old forward.
Now in his 7th season with the Magic, Aaron Gordon has always been a really solid frontcourt option, but he may not present the potential to grow into a better player than he is. With him having a ton of value on the trade market and the Magic struggling, it makes a ton of sense for them to trade him now for future assets to potentially rebuild with.
This season, Gordon is averaging 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and is shooting 41.1% from three-point range, making him an impactful player that could really make a difference for the Knicks.

Outside of Julius Randle and R.J. Barrett, the Knicks do not have many consistent offensive weapons, as they mainly rely on their defense to win games. Adding another dynamic player like Aaron Gordon not only takes a ton of pressure off of Randle, but gives New York that third reliable scorer they desperately need.
With the addition of Gordon, the Knicks would absolutely lock themselves in as a playoff team and end up being a team that nobody wants to play late in the year because of how dynamic and athletic they would be.
