Why This Trade Would Benefit The Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers finally got a basketball mind in the front office that realized putting shooters on the perimeter would benefit Joel Embiid and Simmons. Embiid is a big man and Ben Simmons has no outside threat so the stars needed some help. This 76ers’ team is deep and can score from anywhere on the floor.
It is no coincidence that the 76ers are all of a sudden at the top of the East. This is a very top-heavy conference and Philadelphia are taking advantage of it. Wayne Ellington is another depth piece that could come in and play valuable minutes during any part of a game.
Tobias Harris has been another reason for the success of the 76ers. He is earning his contract this season with 20.5 points per game. There is a certain toughness that we have not seen in Philly over the years and it is because of the coaching change.
