Why This Trade Would Make Sense For The OKC Thunder

This is a good trade for the Oklahoma City Thunder because they are in the process of rebuilding and adding fresh legs to their team. The Thunder has seen some great emergence from Luguentz Dort and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander; and they could look to add a pair of youthful talent to add some depth to the team.

Let’s be realistic, the OKC Thunder will likely need a couple more years before they’ll be playoff contenders again, but adding some great depth in Carsen Edwards and Romeo Langford is a great step in the right direction.

Oklahoma City needs to focus on freeing up some cash and building for the future and retaining a 34 year old shooting guard in George Hill isn’t really focusing on the future.
