Doug McDermott is the perimeter threat that we have been talking about that would go to Los Angeles. It would certainly not be a blockbuster and McDermott would not step into a starting role, but he is a capable three-point shooter that is used to coming off the bench. He would be able to provide some valuable minutes in the middle of games.
The Pacers would land Lou Williams in return. This would be a short-term option that lands them one of the best bench players in the league. Williams would be able to add depth in the backcourt for the Pacers at the most important position on the floor.
