Golden State Warriors Receive: G Bradley Beal

Washington Wizards Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, MIN 2021 1st Round Pick (Top-3 Protected), GSW 2023 1st Round Pick, GSW 2025 1st Round Pick (Swap, More Favorable)

Bradley Beal has bene often mention in NBA trade rumors with the Warriors as a potential landing spot ever since Klay Thompson injured his Achilles and while the Wizards have made their intention on keeping Beal long-term clear, this is still the ultimate trade scenario for the Warriors.

So far this year, Bradley Beal is averaging 32.5 points (league-high), 5.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.4 steals and is shooting 47.6% from the floor. He was voted in as an All-Star starter this year and has cemented himself as one of the best players in the league today.

While getting Bradley Beal gives the Warriors the top two scorers in the league this season, they would have to give up quite a bit in this trade package. Andrew Wiggins has the potential to be a great two-way player when this team is fully healthy, Thompson included, and all of these draft picks are the future of this Golden State organization.

This would be a huge decision for the Warriors to make in terms of prioritizing winning now over the future success of this organization, but seeing Beal and Curry on the court at the same time sure would be special.

Both of these guys are two of the most dynamic scorers in the game today and on the same team, they would absolutely be a playoff team nobody would want to play. Both guys are unguardable as it is, so just imagine what they could do on the court together!

The idea of adding Bradley Beal to this team seems fantastic and like a “home-run” acquisition, but something like this may only work in 2K21. The Warriors would be giving up too much of their future in this trade package, which is why they should hold off and not pursue Beal at this time.

Still though, this is a real trade scenario the Warriors could look into as the trade deadline quickly approaches. Washington will likely hold onto Bradley Beal, but this is still a blockbuster deal to monitor over the next few weeks.
