PJ Tucker is in the final year of his contract and was able to reach an extension with the Houston Rockets. This means he could be on the move sooner rather than later and it will certainly be something to watch at the NBA trade deadline.
At the current stage of Tucker’s career, it would be ideal for him to contribute to a contending team who has the talent necessary to do so. the Rockets were a team of that kind even just a season ago, but that period of their franchise is now over without James Harden.

In return, Houston would get player such as DJ Wilson an Pat Connaughton. They were also land Torrey Craig and a first-round pick in this year’s draft. The pick will be low but that does not matter when dealing with a rebuilding team like Houston.
