3 under-the-radar trade targets for the Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers were a team with high NBA championship aspirations last year, but their dreams quickly slipped through their fingers when they were up 3-1 in the Western Conference Semifinals to the Denver Nuggets and ultimately lost the series.

With Montrezl Harrell departing for the Lakers in the offseason and question marks around their play in the back-court, the Clippers could be a team that looks to make a significant move near this year’s NBA trade deadline. They will be a team to watch in NBA trade rumors as a result.

This organization has been linked to numerous backcourt talents like Kyle Lowry and Lonzo Ball over the last few weeks, but with both of those guys expected to remain where they are as of right now, the Clippers could look to improve other areas of their team.

Fully healthy, this team is definitely a championship contending team because of all the veteran and experienced players they have. Lou Williams, Nicolas Batum, Patrick Beverley, Marcus Morris, Serge Ibaka, Patrick Patterson, Paul George and Reggie Jackson are all 30+ years old and 2x Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard is 29-years old, bringing plenty of winning experience to this organization.

Clippers and they definitely have the players to be able to contend for a championship, but they could look to make one more move before the NBA trade deadline to solidify their championship caliber roster.
