This Nuggets-Rockets trade sends Eric Gordon to Denver

The Houston Rockets have gone from being a title contending team, to a playoff contending team, to a borderline playoff team, to now being one of the worst teams in the NBA in about 5 months. This franchise has seen its roster completely changed and with James Harden no longer being in Houston, the Rockets may finally be facing a rebuild.

With the Rockets sending Harden to Brooklyn, they acquired numerous first-round picks over the next several years and they also received former All-Star guard Victor Oladipo. When healthy, Oladipo looks like the high-level talent he once was, but there have been plenty of NBA trade rumors revolving around him now and his future in Houston.

It seems like every player on the Rockets’ roster is available for discussion and potentially could be traded for the right price, which is why veteran guard Eric Gordon is a guy that could be on the move. At 32-years old now, Gordon is in his 13th season in the league and is a veteran player numerous playoff caliber teams are targeting ahead of the NBA trade deadline.
