New York Knicks
The Knicks have been one of the most surprisingly good teams during the first-half of the NBA season and they are currently in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. New York is one of the best defensive teams in the league this season and after just trading for Derrick Rose, the Knicks may not be done trying to make moves to improve their roster before the NBA trade deadline.
With Julius Randle having a breakout, All-Star season and R.J. Barrett putting together a really solid second season inthe league, the Knicks may finally be able to make it back to the playoffs for the first time since 2013, but they could still improve their offense.
The Knicks rank 29th in the league in points per game, but are surprisingly a solid three-point shooting team, ranking 11th in three-point shooting percentage. This is why Eric Gordon could be a great fit for the New York Knicks.

Not only is he a prolific three-point shooting wing, but Eric Gordon is an overall solid playmaker that makes those around him better. He is not much of a facilitator or ball-handler, but he is more than capable of putting the ball on the floor and attack the rim from the perimeter. Not to mention, he could open up a lot more space for the Knicks for isolation opportunities for Randle and Barrett because of the attention he draws on the perimeter.
Defense is where this team thrives, but unless they add more offensive talent before the trade deadline, they may not make a deep playoff run, if they do indeed make the playoffs. Adding Gordon, who has a ton of playoff experience could be vital to the New York Knicks and potentially make them a fantastic two-way team that none of the top seeds want to see come playoff time.
