Both the Charlotte Hornets and the New York Knicks are in steady playoff contention in the NBA’s Eastern Conference, but the two sides could collaborate a deal at the NBA trade deadline this year. Terry Rozier would be a name to watch if the two teams began talking trade.
Rozier, 26, has been in trade rumors all season long following the emergence of rookie point guard LaMelo Ball and there could be a strong market for the six-year veteran. Scary Terry is one of the best backup shooting/point guards in the NBA and could very well change the landscape of a needy team.
One team that could be in the mix for Terry Rozier is the Knicks. The Knicks, who currently sit sixth in the Eastern Conference standings, need a true point guard to play alongside Derrick Rose and RJ Barrett and they could get that in Rozier.
Terry Rozier is averaging 20.8 points per game, 3.9 rebounds per game, and 3.0 assists per game for the Hornets this season and he could be dealt very soon.
Let’s take a look at what a potential deal between the Hornets and Knicks could look like this season.
