OKC Thunder Receive: Kevin Knox II

New York Knicks Receive: Trevor Ariza, 2021 2nd Round Pick (via MIN), 2021 2nd Round Pick (via DEN)

There is no coming back from the label of bust in New York. Kevin Knox II was drafted ahead of players like Michael Porter Jr., Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Mikal Bridges. Now, he’s not even getting minutes in the Knicks’ rotation.

This is just another draft-day blunder by the Knicks that will haunt them as long as Knox is in the Big Apple. They would not land much for Knox but anything is better than nothing.

Trevor Ariza and two second-round picks in this year’s draft would be the return. He was originally a second-round pick of the New York Knicks in 2004. He would be a dump for the OKC Thunder as they continue their quest in adding young pieces to their team.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this deal would benefit both sides right away this season.
