Julius Randle Is Still Only 26-Years-Old
Julius Randle is in his seventh season in the NBA and is in his second season with the New York Knicks. Over the years, Randle has slowly been getting better and better and it seems like nobody has ever given him the credit he deserves. From his time in New Orleans to now being with the Knicks, Randle’s development into an NBA All-Star caliber big man has been apparent, but nobody has talked about him!
Now at 26-years old, Randle is on-track to make the NBA All-Star Game this year for the first-time in his career and he is not at the peak of his career yet! He is still getting better as an overall talent and definitely still has room to grow as he enters the prime of his career.
There is a lot of upside for the Rockets in acquiring Julius Randle from the Knicks not only because he is young and entering the prime of his career, but because they have a lot of aging players on their roster. John Wall, Eric Gordon, DeMarcus Cousins and P.J. Tucker are all in their 30’s and there are definitely questions about their futures with this organization.
Christian Wood is the future of the Houston Rockets and pairing him up with Julius Randle gives the Rockets two key NBA All-Star caliber players to build with for many years to come. Whether or not this team is going to rebuild, they need to be thinking about their long-term future and acquiring Randle now sets them up for a ton of success later on.
