Zach LaVine is one of the biggest names on the trading block as we approach the NBA trade deadline. The Chicago Bulls have a chance to unload one of their big-name players in hopes of adding to their young core. There will be plenty of teams interested if the Bulls are taking calls for LaVine and the Denver Nuggets could be one of them.
LaVine has played all 23 games this season and is leading the Bulls with 27.4 points per game. He is a threat at all three levels shooting 40.9% from three-point range. Chicago could choose to listen to offers for LaVine or Lauri Markannen, if not both. Billy Donovan is now the head coach in Chicago and this is a team that could use some new faces.
Coby White and Patrick Williams, along with Wendell Carter Jr., are looking like the real deal in Chicago and could be some players to build around. In Denver, they already have their star players and could want to add another.
The Nuggets are one year removed from a Western Conference Finals appearance. Both Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have proven they are stars in this league and will be for quite some time. The Western Conference is extremely deep this season. This could force the Nuggets to make a big-splash move at the NBA trade deadline.
Zach LaVine would bring a third option on the offensive end to Denver. This would be one of the best trios in the league and make them even bigger of a contender.
LaVine going to Chicago could take some doing but nothing is impossible. It would certainly shake things up in both conferences. Here is how this deal could take place at the NBA trade deadline.
