Boston Celtics Receive: Lonzo Ball, JJ Redick, Eric Bledsoe
New Orleans Pelicans Receive: Kemba Walker, Carsen Edwards, Robert Williams III
This trade would take care of many issues for the New Orleans Pelicans. It would completely solve their goal of getting rid of veteran players. JJ Redick and Eric Bledsoe would join Lonzo Ball on his way to Boston.
The Celtics have plenty of assets to send New Orleans in a potential deal to entice them not only to involve Lonzo Ball but to take Kemba Walker’s contract, too. It begins with Walker. He is a player who has been mentioned in NBA trade rumors because of his strange fit in Boston.
Carsen Edwards and Robert Williams III are other young options that would fit into the future plan for the Pelicans. There wouldn’t be much room for Williams III to play with Steven Adams and Jaxson Hayes ahead of him, but Edwards could be a helpful addition.
Let’s take a closer look and see how this trade centered around Lonzo Ball would benefit both the Boston Celtics and New Orleans Pelicans.
