Why This Trade Would Benefit The Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have many of their key players back from last season. They lost Jae Crowder in free agency but return their core that they are going to rely on moving forward. They have plenty of trade assets but would not have to give up any of their young stars in this deal. That is what makes this one so attractive for the Heat.

This season, Duncan Robinson is turning into one of the best three-point shooters in the game. Herro is another marksman from deep but the Heat could look to add more firepower. They have been linked to many big NBA names in the offseason but took a hit when Giannis Antetokounmpo signed an extension with the Milwaukee Bucks.

That he could still be looking to add a superstar but that would not be at the NBA trade deadline. This is a realistic move the team can make to improve right away if they were to miss out on a dynamic talent.

The Eastern Conference is only getting better. Teams like Milwaukee and the Brooklyn Nets have made moves up the top of the standings. It is important for Miami to keep pace with these teams or they will fall even further behind, especially come playoff time.
