New Orleans Pelicans Receive: Coby White, Cristian Felicio

Chicago Bulls Receive: Lonzo Ball, 2022 2nd Round Pick

In this deal, Lonzo Ball and a second-round pick would be going to the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls would not have to part ways with either Zach LaVine or Lauri Markkanen which is already an attractive feature of the deal.

The Bulls would have to give up a piece that they feel good about in the backcourt in order to get it done. That piece is Coby White. The North Carolina product is looking like the real deal at point guard and was part of a duo that could lead this team for years to come.

Patrick Williams is the other part of that duo, the Bulls selected him with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Chicago would still need to potentially resolve the logjam in the frontcourt they face.

Let’s take a look and see how this trade centered around Lonzo Ball benefits both the Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans.
