This Celtics-Clippers trade reunites Jeff Teague and Paul George

This is a potential deal between two teams who are interested in competing right away. The Los Angeles Clippers are teams that have NBA championship aspirations moving forward while the Boston Celtics could benefit from reconfiguring their bench.

For the Clippers, it is at point guard. They had a disappointing finish to last season because of their lack of depth at the top of the offense. So far in 2021, both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are playing at an elite level. Leonard leads the team with 25.4 points per game and George is right behind him with 24.7. The Clippers are a team that is ready to win now and a point guard would only help their chances.

Boston is another team that had a disappointing finish to the NBA postseason but for a different reason. The Celtics are weak down low and they made minimal effort to improve the position. They are a team that can contend in a very top-heavy Eastern Conference.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown lead the way with Kemba Walker running point when he is healthy. The Celtics could use some more depth and this is a move to add some. They would not have to give up much which is extremely beneficial.

It would be interesting to see these two franchises team up for a trade. Here is what a potential deal might look like between the two sides.
