Boston Celtics Receive: Russell Westbrook

Washington Wizards Receive: Kemba Walker, Romeo Langford, Daniel Theis

Russell Westbrook would team up with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to build a big three with the Boston Celtics. They have plenty of trade assets that they would be able to send to the Washington Wizards in return.

This trade would not be extremely expensive and it could be worth it in the end. It’s quite possible that Kemba Walker will continue to have concerns surrounding his knee and while Westbrook is an aging NBA All-Star with his own injury history, he has been more durable as of late.

Walker will headline the deal for the Wizards. If they are sending Westbrook away, they will need a replacement and that is what Walker will bring. Daniel Theis and Romeo Langford are two players who could benefit from a change of scenery moving forward.
