Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors are a talented team, but they need to add a big name weapon to get back in good shape in the Eastern Conference standings. The Raptors, lead by Nick Nurse, are currently 1-4 and sit at 5th in the Atlantic and the potential of adding a big name player needs to be at the front of their minds.
The only downside to the Raptors possibly being able to land James Harden is that they would surely have to give up Pascal Siakam and a future first round pick. Siakam, a 6-foot-9 forward, has been in NBA MVP conversations in his career himself and is easily one of the top five forwards in the league.
Harden is certainly an upgrade the the Raptors, especially when they have other players like DeAndre Bembry and Chris Boucher who could fill his role.
James Harden and Kyle Lowry would form a great one two punch in the East and Fred VanVleet would be one of the best players in the NBA coming off the bench. The Raptors need to do whatever it takes to win, and this may be the move they need to make.
