The Denver Nuggets could continue the success they saw during the restart if they were to make a deal for a needed three-point threat on the outside. The Sacramento Kings have one available that would help Denver right away during the 2020-21 NBA season.
Buddy Hield is one of the biggest names remaining on the trading block. He signed a four-year, $94 million deal with the Kings back in 2019 but the relationship was diminished this past season.
Hield was moved to the bench in favor of Bogdan Bogdanovic, who the Kings hoped would be featured in the backcourt along with De’Aaron Fox. With Bogdanovic now in Atlanta, there is a chance that the Kings decide to keep Hield.
If he is still on the trading block, the Nuggets are a team that should make a call to Sacramento. Denver made a run to the Western Conference Finals and were knocked out by the Los Angeles Lakers. This is a team with a proven duo in Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic. They could use a three-point threat on the perimeter to join forces with Murray and Jokic.
If the two sides decided to work out a deal, it could be done easily. Here is what a potential deal might look like for both sides.
