This Suns-Warriors trade is centered around Draymond Green

Why This Trade Would Benefit The Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have been in a tough position over the last two years. The NBA’s most recent dynasty has been destroyed by injuries. It seems to be too early to completely throw this season away but there are some moves to be made if the Warriors want to contend right away.

The Warriors were supposed to return to the top of the Western Conference with their full complement of players. With Klay Thompson and Draymond Green sidelined, Stephen Curry is by himself in the lineup. That no longer appears to be in the cards for Golden State.

Green has been an important player for the Warriors but if they can replenish their rotation and depth right away, it is something to think about. Especially if Jae Crowder is a piece of the return. Over the course of his NBA career, Crowder has been a hard-nosed player with a great presence on the floor.

The Warriors could use some help at the moment and that is what this all comes down to. It will be interesting to see where the front office goes for some in the upcoming weeks.
