Phoenix Suns Receive: Draymond Green

Golden State Warriors Receive: Jae Crowder, Dario Saric, 2021 1st Round Pick

Draymond Green has been an important piece for the Golden State Warriors during their NBA championship years. At some point, it will have to come to an end and it could if this trade is offered. This helps the Dubs to add some intriguing contributors while moving on from Green’s contract.

Jae Crowder signed with the Suns in free agency. Crowder and Dario Saric would be on the move to Golden State along with the first-round pick. The Suns would clearly be going for it if they were to make a trade to team up Green with Devin Booker and Chris Paul.

This would be a trade that wouldn’t be able to be executed until Feb. 26 due to Dario Saric being re-signed using Bird rights. An additional restriction is that Crowder has to have three months pass since he was signed, but that date is also Feb. 26 for when he will be eligible to be dealt.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this deal with impact both the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors moving forward.
