Why This Trade Would Benefit The Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns were eliminated from receiving a postseason nod during the NBA restart after going 8-0 in the bubble. Now, they’re off to a 4-1 start to the 2020-21 NBA season. Devin Booker is an NBA All-Star player who was in need of some help. With the team feeling like they are right on the cusp of the postseason, they went and made a trade for Chris Paul.
Adding a future Hall of Fame point guard will certainly help the Suns moving forward. They are feeling like a playoff team and could continue to make big moves. This is where the trade for Green comes into play. The Michigan State product has been a focal point for the Warriors on both ends of the floor during their championship runs.
There have been discussions about who the leader of Golden State is and Green’s name is always mentioned. He is a winning player with great versatility that would help the Suns take the next step.
This is not a name we have seen much in NBA trade rumors but the fit for Green with the Suns is perfect. If a franchise is looking to get to another level, there are few better players to help than Green.
