Why This Trade Would Benefit The Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers are a team with very few if any, weak spots. Early on in the season, they are near the top of the NBA in both points per contest and three-point percentage. This is an area where they can keep improving if they feel the need.
Cam Reddish is a player who could help along the perimeter. So far this season, Reddish is shooting 44.4% from beyond the arc. He is a second-year player looking to take his game to the next level and he would be able to do that with the supporting cast in Los Angeles.
LeBron James would probably like to play alongside a talent with the skill-set that Reddish has on the perimeter. He could bring more consistency than Kuzma has over the years.
Los Angeles clearly does not need Reddish, or anyone outside the team, in order to win another championship. But if a deal is available then why not? It will be interesting to see if the champs decide to pull the trigger on a deal.
