Why the Trade Benefits the Miami Heat
The Miami Heat were able to make an NBA championship run well before their time. They surprised everybody by winning the Eastern Conference during the restart and did it with big-time play from their big-name players. This includes Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler.
Miami’s frontcourt was able to dominate wherever they played. Adebayo took control of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics. With Lauri Markkanen, this duo would continue to grow and be a problem in Eastern Conference.
Miami also has many trade assets in the form of young players. Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson proved to be valuable in Miami, which is why they would like to hold onto them in the trade.
This is where Kendrick Nunn would come in to play. He burst onto the scene as one of the top rookies early on but faded out during the NBA postseason. If they could get this deal done, it would solidify their starting lineup and make them stronger immediately.
