The Miami Heat put together an impressive run in the NBA bubble and came up short of winning a championship. The team could be in the market for another star to pair with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Could Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal be an option?
At the beginning of the NBA offseason, John Wall requested a trade out of Washington. The Wizards sent him to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook. He was brought to town to pair with Bradley Beal but the team could get a large return for the long-time star.
The Miami Heat could be the perfect trade partner for Washington in this deal. They have plenty of assets to send in return for a player like Beal. Miami is interested in acquiring a superstar and have been linked to many big names beginning next season.
Much of the Heat’s long-term vision was to pursue Giannis Antetokounmpo when he became an unrestricted free agent next NBA offseason. That no longer is an option. Additionally, a James Harden trade appears to be increasingly unlikely, too— making Beal a more logical option.
If a deal like this were to take place, it would form quite the trio in Miami. Let’s take a look at what it might take for this trade to work out.
