This Cavaliers-Warriors trade pairs up Kevin Love, Stephen Curry

One player who knows a thing or two about being traded is Kevin Love. We all remember when he was sent to the Cleveland Cavaliers to team up with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in hopes of bringing a championship to town. That is exactly what the trio did and now Love is the last remaining member, but could a trade to the Golden State Warriors to play alongside Stephen Curry be in his future?

The Cavaliers are in an interesting position as well. They are young in the back-court with names like Collin Sexton and Darius Garland. In the front-court, Love and Andre Drummond are veteran players who still have a lot left in the tank.

Cleveland could choose to go full rebuild and send away their bigs for a return. If Love is on the market, the Warriors are a team that could be interested.

Golden State built one of the best dynasties in NBA history on the backs of their guards. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are two of the top shooters of all-time and were expected to have the Warriors back into the top of the Western Conference. Thompson is out for the season with an injury, which is a huge blow to the upcoming season. Golden State added James Wiseman with the second pick in the draft, so they could choose to begin to bolster the forward position.

That is exactly what would happen if they explore a trade for Kevin Love. Here is what a potential trade between Golden State and Cleveland might look like.
