Damian Lillard Finishes Top Three In MVP Voting

There is definitely a chance Damian Lillard could win the 2020-21 MVP award, but if there is anything certain about the MVP voting, it is that Lillard will finish in the top three in votes. He is coming off of the best season of his career and after averaging 30.0 points, 8.0 assists, and shooting 40.1% from three-point range in 66 games last season, Lillard could do wonders in a 72-game season.

With more offensive help around him this year and a fully healthy frontcourt, Damian Lillard will be able to have his way with opposing defenses and if he’s anything like he was in the NBA Bubble, there is no stopping him. He is a legit scoring threat from the mid-court logo on any basketball court and can catch defenders sleeping at any moment.

Damian Lillard, entering his 9th season in the NBA, has consistently been getting better and better each year and will elevate his game this season to the point where he will be in the conversation for the league MVP award all season long. The Portland Trail Blazers will be one of the most improved teams in the Western Conference this season and it will all be because of Damian Lillard and his ability to carry this team.

When it is “Dame Time,” there is no stopping Damian Lillard and if he turns it on again near the end of the season like he did last year, it will be extremely hard to stop the Portland Trail Blazers from advancing round-after-round in the playoffs. He will once again be one of the league’s top scorers and with all of the scoring threats around him, Lillard could end up with a new career high in assists per game.
