Why the Trade Benefits the Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets are going to be a completely new-look team in the upcoming season. Their front office had a complete overhaul and Stephen Silas has taken over on the sidelines. John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins will act as the new franchise players while James Harden could be on his way out.

There is a reason why the Heat was able to take the next step towards a championship down in Orlando. This is because they got big-time contributions from their younger players. Tyler Herro is looking like the real deal while Duncan Robinson has turned into one of the top shooters in the league.

Let’s not forget, Kendrick Nunn was one of the early season rookies to watch prior to the shutdown. The Rockets would also get plenty of draft capital in this deal that will come in handy for the future.

If this deal is made, the Rockets would still be viewed as a playoff team in the Western Conference. If Harden wants to be traded, it would benefit Houston if they were to trade him immediately.
