Why the Trade Benefits the Miami Heat

The Miami Heat has been interested in adding another superstar in the coming years. With Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Paul George all signed to contract extensions, the next standout the Heat add could have to come via trade.

Jimmy Butler has completely solidified himself as a leader and a big-game player. They have their franchise player in place and would benefit greatly from adding another one.

It was no secret the Heat’s primary target was going to be Antetokounmpo but that’s no longer the case. This means the Heat will have to look elsewhere for their other superstar. Pat Riley could put together another dynamic duo in hopes of winning a championship. Harden would join Butler and Bam Adebayo down in Miami. This would make them one of the teams to beat in the Eastern Conference moving forward.

The Heat would be an extremely difficult team to guard if this deal would be made. Opposing defenses would have to worry about both Butler and Harden on the perimeter along with Adebayo down low.
