Why the Trade Benefits the New Orleans Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans entered the offseason with a goal of rebuilding their team further. It began when they traded Anthony Davis for a hue return of young players. This offseason, they wanted to unload some veteran players and get younger.
Jrue Holiday was sent to the Milwaukee Bucks and Redick is another veteran name on the trading block. Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson are the future and Beal would be a welcomed addition.
Beal would give them a proven scorer at all three levels. He can shoot from deep and create his own shot from all over the floor. Bringing that type of skill-set into the mix would complement the Pelicans’ talents like Ingram, Williamson, and Steven Adams who thrive in the paint.
The Pelicans are already a must-watch team because of the excitement that Williamson brings. That would take the next step if Beal were to come to town this offseason.
