Indiana Pacers

As it stands right now, the Indiana Pacers have a really good roster on paper and should be one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference, but something that has plagued them over the years have been injuries to key players. Victor Oladipo, Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis have all dealt with injuries over the years, which have caused this Pacers team to not reach their full potential as a group.

If more injuries occur early in the year and/or things are not working out, the Pacers will not be hesitant to make a big move and change their roster up to be able to contend immediately. They have invested too much money and time to get booted in the first-round of the playoffs again, which is why Kevin Love could be on their radar.

Victor Oladipo and Myles Turner are two names that have come up a lot in trade rumors this offseason and if the Pacers are willing to make a big move, these two guys will likely be on the receiving end of another team in a trade with the Pacers. Oladipo has not been able to stay healthy over the years and Myles Turner has been one of the best shot-blockers in the league. Why the Pacers would want to get rid of him is unknown, but frustrations between him and management have seem to grow.

If the Cavaliers were able to land one of these two guys, it would not just set them up for success down the road, but be instrumental in the growth of their young talents now. Victor Oladipo would be the focal point of the Cavaliers and the guy they would look to build around for years to come, while Myles Turner would be more of a guy they look to build with. He does not seem like he can be the #1 option for a team, which is why paired with Sexton and Garland, he would be a terrific player in the frontcourt.

Kevin Love to the Pacers has been a rumored trade for the last couple of offseasons, but it may be picking up traction as we enter the start of the 2020-21 NBA season.
