Why the Trade Benefits the Miami Heat
The Miami Heat are one of the teams around the NBA that have had a bunch of moving parts. Jae Crowder is now with the Phoenix Suns and Goran Dragic was a free agent but is back with the Heat. Because of injury concerns, the Heat could look to add another young player with a high ceiling.
Tyler Herro emerged as a star on the perimeter during the postseason. He is a player that the Heat feel good about in the future. Bam Adebayo is another name that has become huge over the past calendar year. There are plenty of role players around Butler and that is what Markelle Fultz could add to.
There is no doubt that Fultz has not panned out the way everyone expected, but that does not mean that his career should be written off already. He showed some intriguing signs at times with the Orlando Magic last season.
If there is an NBA franchise that could turn Fultz around, it is the Heat. Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra are two of the best in the business and could get the most out of Fultz immediately.
