Why the Trade Benefits the Charlotte Hornets

After the draft, the Charlotte Hornets are very deep in the backcourt. This is a chance for them to get rid of Terry Rozier and add two more quality players. JJ Redick would immediately help Charlotte’s ability from beyond the arc, as he has shown with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Aside from the help on the court, this trade would pair the Ball brothers together. Since they could not make it happen in Los Angeles, they would have to settle for Charlotte. Graham is the point guard of the future and he showed her that this season.

Graham averaged 18.2 points and 7.5 assists per game and 35.1 minutes a night. Along with the Ball brothers, Charlotte would be stacked in the backcourt. Redick is a winning player who knows how to lead on and off the floor.

This is an even trade for both the Hornets and Pelicans. If it is able to get done, Charlotte would be a must-watch team with many electric players and personalities— helping to form a real push for the playoffs in the upcoming NBA season.
