3. Utah Jazz
The Jazz showed that they are ready to compete in the Western Conference. They lost in seven games to the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs. Utah needs another player to take that next step.
Donovan Mitchell signed a five-year, $163 million rookie extension to remain in Utah. They need to get him some more help.
This offseason, Rudy Gobert is a name that has floated around in trade rumors. He is on an expiring contract and could be on his way out of Utah. His relationship with Mitchell is up in the air, which means that Gobert could be a trade piece. Acquiring Blake Griffin from the Pistons could either replace Gobert or act as a missing piece next to him in the front-court.
The Jazz are one of the most exciting teams in the league with Mitchell at the helm. Moving forward, they will need to build a strong team around him and Griffin could go a long way.
