4. Houston Rockets
The Rockets have parted ways with head coach Mike D’Antoni and general manager Daryl Morey just one year after attempting to bring James Harden and Russell Westbrook together. This combination did not work and the franchise is going in a completely different direction.
Houston already signed one forward from Detroit, and now they could make a trade for another. Christian Wood has signed a deal to go to Houston.
Adding Blake Griffin in a deal would reunite them in the front-court. Houston is a team in need of a massive upgrade down low. They built their team around shooters on the perimeter and a fast style of play.
Griffin has two years left on his deal, so this is a short-term, potential high-reward trade. If the new look front office wants to make a big splash, Griffin could be on his way to town.
