Why This Trade Would Make Sense For The Pistons
Being able to acquire Kyle Kuzma, a first-round pick, and a second-round pick for Derrick Rose would be a huge win. The Lakers are looking to win as much as they can with LeBron James leading the way and they might view this trade as a way to do that.
Kuzma would be a huge addition for the Pistons. Even though they added some talent in the front-court, this would be a long-term fit.
Last season with the Lakers, Kuzma ended up averaging 12.8 points per game. He chipped in 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Kuzma shot 43.6 percent from the floor and knocked down 31.6 percent of his three-point attempts.
At just 25 years old, Kuzma is just getting started. He still has a lot of room to grow and develop.
Add in the picks and this deal would be a big-time win for the Pistons.
