Joe Harris

It is unknown if the Brooklyn Nets will re-sign Joe Harris this offseason. It would certainly benefit them in the long run but they could be too caught up in James Harden and miss out on one of the NBA’s premier three-point shooters.

Harris is the perfect fit for the Nets but also fits well in Atlanta. The Hawks are expected to make a huge run at him in free agency. At 29-years old, he shot 42.4% from three-point range this season. He is a career 42.6% shooter from beyond the arc. By joining Trae Young on the perimeter in Atlanta, Harris would help to build one of the best shooting tandems in the NBA. This is a league that is based on production from the three-point line. This makes Harris extremely valuable in free agency.

The Hawks have plenty of cap space to sign Harris, who will not require much. When free agency officially begins, expect Atlanta to make a big run at Harris and remain relentless until the pen hits the paper.
